Job summary

Ascension in Oklahoma seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join an employed outpatient practice within a busy, respected health system. You will collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to deliver high-quality preventive care and guidance to patients and families.

Requires a Master’s in Nursing, NP with Prescriptive Authority through the Oklahoma Board, and BLS; licensure in Kansas may apply if practicing there. Strong documentation and patient education are essential.

• NP with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from OK Board of Nursing.
• Preferred RN credential from OK Board of Nursing.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. For incumbents working in Kansas-based facilities, licensure through the Kansas Board of Nursing will be required.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.

Education

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
