Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join a busy, well-respected practice in Tulsa, OK. This employed role is supported by a strong referral base and the extensive resources of a national health system.

The PA will work in an integrated inpatient/outpatient setting as part of an established team, providing comprehensive clinical care and collaborating with physicians and APPs to guide treatment decisions.

Qualifications

• BLS within 1 month of hire date.
• Licensed Physician Assistant with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision.
• Advanced Life Support preferred (AHA/Red Cross accepted).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients by obtaining histories and performing physical assessments to guide clinical decisions.
• Translate medical data into actionable treatment pathways and counsel patients and families on long-term wellness strategies.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Licensed Physician Assistant with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

• 1 year of experience preferred.
