Job summary

Ascension seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join an inpatient intervention team within a busy, well‑established hospital. This employed position operates within a nonprofit health system and supports early intervention and coordinated care across specialties.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Nursing, possess BLS, and have or be eligible for Prescriptive Authority and DEA registration. Oklahoma licensure preferred, with options for Kansas facilities if applicable.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date.
• NP with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the OK Board of Nursing before hire date.
• DEA credentialed from the DEA preferred.
• RN credentialed from the OK Board of Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join an established team of Interventionists in an inpatient setting.
• Provide patient care within Ascension's inpatient facility.
• Collaborate with specialists and resources to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Support a nonprofit health system with stable, physician‑led culture.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. For incumbents working in Kansas-based facilities, licensure through the Kansas Board of Nursing will be required.
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing preferred.

Education

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
