Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program prior to start date or equivalent military experience with MA-I eligibility.
• Interim Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) required at hire OR Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) required at hire.
• Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Collects patient health data, vital signs, and records in medical chart.
• Communicates with patients and family, coordinates care with health team.
• Provides patient education aligned with plan of care and preventive guidance.
• Documents patient history and procedures per KFHPW standards.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and professional standards.
