Job summary

Upperline Health is seeking a Primary Care Medical Assistant to support patient-centered care in a value-based practice at our Columbus, IN site, with travel to Seymour. Responsibilities include rooming patients, recording vitals, assisting providers, and coordinating care across teams.

Qualifications

• Certified MA with at least 2 years in a medical primary care setting.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes, and pharmacology basics.
• Experience in care coordination or care management is ideal.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably AthenaHealth.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document vital signs, history, and chief complaints.
• Assist NP with health assessments and in-clinic visits for Upperline Plus patients.
• Coordinate virtual provider encounters from the clinic setting.
• Document clinical information in the EHR accurately.
• Perform medication reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
