QuadMed in Muncie, IN is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our employer health center in a PRN capacity. You will perform vital signs, document in the EMR, assist clinicians, and support front office tasks while maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements.

Required at least a high school diploma and completion of an accredited medical assisting program; 1 year MA experience preferred, with phlebotomy and clinical lab procedures required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of accredited medical assisting program or equivalent.
• Minimum one year MA experience preferred; phlebotomy and lab procedures required.
• Front office experience required; bilingual a plus.

Responsabilités

• Measures and records vital signs.
• Documents in EMR with patient history, vitals, treatments, test results.
• Assists clinicians during examinations.
• Uses CPR when necessary.
• Maintains supplies, equipment, and sterilizes instruments.
• Provides patient instructions for procedures and registrations.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per regulations.
• Front desk duties: reception, scheduling, payments.
