Job summary

QuadMed in Yorktown, IN is hiring a Medical Assistant to join our employer health center focused on primary care.

You will take vital signs, document in EMR, assist with exams, draw blood, give injections, and manage front desk tasks. Qualified candidates have at least one year of MA experience, CPR, and a medical assisting certification.

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus; we offer comprehensive benefits and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of accredited medical assisting program or combination of equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant required.
• Advanced proficiency in phlebotomy and clinical laboratory procedures required.
• Experience working front office required.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record vital signs (weight, height, blood pressure, etc.).
• Ensures accurate documentation into the EMR; patient interviews and histories, vital signs, treatments, test results.
• Assist medical staff with patient examinations.
• Draws patient blood samples and prepares samples for lab analysis.
• Prepares and administers ordered injectable medications and immunizations.
• Front office duties including reception, check-in/check-out, and scheduling.
