Job summary

QuadMed is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our employer health center in Plainfield, IN. This full-time position focuses on primary care with one-on-one patient care and a team-based approach to preventative health.

The role includes vital signs, documentation in EMR, patient preparation, and front office duties. CPR (BLS) and Medical Assistant certification are required or obtained within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of accredited school of medical assisting, or combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Medical Assistant required; phlebotomy and clinical lab procedures proficiency needed.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record vital signs.
• Document in EMR and assist with patient examinations.
• Front office duties: reception, check-in/out, scheduling, payments.
