Job summary

VIPCARE is seeking a Medical Assistant in Edmond, Oklahoma to provide clinical and administrative support. You will prepare patients for exams, assist physicians, and manage electronic medical records while delivering high-quality patient interactions.

The role requires strong communication, basic medical knowledge, and familiarity with EMR systems; CPR and IV start certifications are preferred. On-site team environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of Accredited Medical Assistant program preferred (RMA or CMA).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• CPR certification preferred.
• IV Start Certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for provider examination, taking history and vitals and recording in EMR.
• Assist provider with examination, treatments, and procedures.
• Maintain complete records electronically in the EMR.
• Handle front-desk tasks: phones, scheduling, inquiries, triage calls.
• Prepare patient and room for examination; document care and reminders.
