Job summary

Upperline Health Plus is seeking a Primary Care Medical Assistant who delivers patient-centered care in a value-based practice. The MA will room patients, gather histories, take vital signs, and support care coordination both in-clinic and virtually.

The candidate should have MA certification and/or 2+ years in primary care, with experience in EMR systems and strong communication. On-site role in Douglasville, GA with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Certified MA or 2+ years of primary care outpatient experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and disease processes.
• EMR experience, preferably AthenaHealth.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, document vital signs and medical history.
• Support NP with health assessments and clinic visits.
• Coordinate care and outreach to improve outcomes.
• Document clinical information in the EHR accurately.
• Perform clinical tasks within scope (injections, phlebotomy, POC testing).
• Engage in telephonic outreach and care coordination.
