Job summary

Upperline Health Plus is seeking a Primary Care Medical Assistant who delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in a value-based practice. In our patient-centered environment, the Medical Assistant supports patients in the clinic by rooming patients, obtaining medical history, and taking vital signs, while also coordinating care beyond visits.

The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and comfortable working at the top of their scope in a collaborative care model.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or minimum two years in primary care.
• Outpatient/primary care experience preferred.
• EMR experience with AthenaHealth preferred; familiarity with clinic software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, document vital signs and medical history.
• Assist providers during in-clinic visits and health assessments.
• Support virtual encounters from the clinic setting and document data in the EHR.
