San Luis Valley Health in Alamosa, CO is seeking a full-time Communications Operator for our Primary Care team. You will be the hub for telephone communication, routing calls, and delivering accurate messages to staff and providers.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, about one year of office experience, and strong customer service skills. You will verify patient and insurance information and coordinate with referring offices.

• Route calls accurately while maintaining friendly customer service.
• Return abandoned calls and verify patient and insurance information.

• Assist with team projects and communicate standard instructions to patients.
