Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Primary Care Patient Care MA to work with Mercy Primary Care Providers to deliver safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care. The role partners with patients, providers, and the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes in an outpatient setting at Mercy Phys. Plaza.

Position is Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00a–5:00p. Education includes a high school diploma, MA Clinic Academy training and completion of MA competencies; certification must be actively

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training.
• Must have completed all MA Competencies
• Caregivers must actively maintain their certification, or they will be transitioned to the Medical Assistant title.
• Caregivers can be hired as a Certified Medical Assistant if they are a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way.
• Partner with patients, providers, and the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients.
• Work under the direction of the primary care operations team to support Mercy Primary Care Providers.
