Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Primary Care Patient Care Medical Assistant to work with Primary Care Providers at Mercy Phys Plaza. This full-time role supports clinicians, delivers patient-centered care, and helps drive quality outcomes in a busy outpatient setting.

Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with clinic academy training and MA certification requirements. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must attend MA Clinic Academy training.
• Must have completed all MA competencies.
• Active MA certification required; caregivers must maintain certification or transition to Medical Assistant title.
• Caregivers may be hired as a Certified Medical Assistant if they are CMA.

Responsibilities

• Support Mercy Primary Care Providers to deliver safe, timely, effective care.
• Partner with patients and care team to drive quality outcomes.
• Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards.

Education
