Job summary

Your Health Organization in Okatie, SC is seeking a Practice Director to oversee patient needs, lead clinical operations, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

You will manage day-to-day physician office operations, supervise staff, recruit and mentor healthcare professionals, and collaborate with leadership to optimize patient experience and outcomes.

This full-time, 8-hour, Monday–Friday position reports to the regional leadership; travel between offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in health or healthcare administration preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; multitask effectively.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively, with strong written and verbal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge; proficiency with relevant software.
• Ability to lead, inspire, and foster a cooperative work environment.
• Willingness to travel between offices and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary healthcare team, fostering a collaborative patient-centric environment.
• Oversee staff selection, supervision, training, and evaluation with regional leadership and HR.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure adequate staffing across locations.
• Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring efficient workflows and optimal patient experience.
• Recruit, train, and mentor healthcare professionals to meet patient health goals.
• Handle HR tasks such as scheduling interviews, onboarding, payroll issues, and performance reviews.
• Implement performance evaluations and initiatives to improve efficiency and workflow.
• Foster communication between care teams to enable coordinated team-based care.
• Engage with patients via email, portals, phone, and in-person to schedule and instruct.
