Job summary

Northbay Health seeks an Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) to provide routine direct care in primary and specialty clinics. You will conduct exams, order tests, perform procedures, diagnose and prescribe medications while educating patients and families for continuity of care with the physician team.

CA licensure as NP with board certification or PA license is required; CPR/DEA/Furnishing Number credentials maintained; bilingual ability preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; graduate of accredited nursing program with NP or PA program.
• CA NP license with board certification OR CA PA license; CPR certification; DEA license for Schedule II+; Furnishing Number.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine direct care in primary/specialty clinics; recheck and same-day appointments.
• Perform physical examinations and order/perform diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose, treat, prescribe medications and educate patients and families.
• Ensure continuity of care with assigned physician practices.
