Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Consult with physicians regarding patient health status; refer complex cases as needed.
• Order and/or perform laboratory and screening tests per protocol.
• Take patient history and perform exams; document health records.
• Plan and coordinate care with patients, families and staff.
• Provide patient counseling and health promotion guidance.

Education

Nurse Practitioner training program per BRN standards

Physician Assistant program (primary health care)

Graduate of an accredited Nursing program

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred)
