Job summary

Optum CA in San Bernardino, CA is seeking a Primary Care Advanced Practice Clinician (full-time) to join our outpatient team. The role includes office visits, annuals, follow ups and in-office procedures with a Medical Assistant supporting rooming, vitals and refills.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday with about 20 patients per day. Board-certified or eligible, CA NP/PA license, BLS/ACLS and DEA certification are required, along with EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility prior to start.
• Active California NP/PA license required.
• Current BLS/ACLS certifications and DEA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient primary care including office visits, annuals, follow ups and in office procedures.
• 40/20 minute consults and follow ups; 20 patients per day on average.
• Medical Assistant supports rooming, vitals, RX refills and follow up visits.
