This role will be responsible for defining and bringing to life new features that allow Apple and third-party developers to unlock the potential of their apps, in-apps, and subscriptions. You’ll design extensible systems that enable these features across a variety of use cases and lines of business, develop internal tooling to assist operations teams in launching and maintaining these features, and work in close partnership with cross-functional business, product, engineering and other stakeholders to turn business requirements into detailed technical specifications. In addition to meeting the business’ needs, you will be responsible for ensuring that the features you launch comply with the various legal, regulatory, tax and business requirements that come with operating a diverse, global digital goods marketplace.

**Description**

The Pricing Product team plays a crucial role to provide developers with the tools and features they need to monetize their apps, acquire, and retain their customers.

In this role, you will:

- Collaborate closely with partner product managers, developer relations, business management, engineering, engineering project management, design, legal, and other functions to deliver tools that unlock and manage pricing capabilities for developers.

- Establish guardrails to protect the integrity of the pricing and commerce systems, the App Store, and our customers.

- Translate business goals for commerce and pricing capabilities into detailed technical requirements used during design, development and quality assurance of the tools.

- Clearly articulate the strategy, and the detailed requirements in leadership and cross-functional reviews.

- Work closely with engineering and program managers to develop and launch features on time and at scale.

- Build expertise in the pricing platform, empower external facing teams to improve adoption of features, answer questions, and propose practical solutions that meet developer needs.

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Exceptional communication skills: Can convey complex ideas concisely and effectively, adapt to different audiences, and influence outcomes.

+ Self-motivated and proactive: Willing to dive into details and gain a thorough understanding of Apple’s systems, processes, and strategic initiatives in order to build the best experiences for developers.

+ Strong analytical skills: Ability to break apart complex questions, seek expertise and data to arrive at a proposals

+ Proven record of working collaboratively with engineering, QA, design, business, finance and legal teams

+ 5+ years of related experience in product management, consulting, design or engineering

+ BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or related field and/or MBA with relevant engineering/quantitative background

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Experience writing detailed, technical specs.

+ Experience working with data structures, relational databases, and SQL.

**Pay & Benefits**

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
