Job summary

Ropes & Gray LLP seeks a pricing professional to partner with firm leaders to develop pricing strategies, create client-level pricing arrangements and implement analytics to measure success. This role offers an opportunity to build pricing tools from scratch and shape the next wave in pricing.

The position involves collaborating with attorneys, practice groups, marketing and finance, with hybrid on-site work in New York and a competitive compensation package including potential discretionary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of pricing, revenue management or financial analysis experience.
• BA/BS in Business, Finance or technical discipline.
• Proficient with Excel and VBA.
• Experience with MicroStrategy and 3e is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with yearly price renewal by reviewing AFAs and auditing terms.
• Capture terms in a database and build models to calculate price impact of strategies.
• Track price increase deadlines and implementation.
• Draft financial and pricing responses to client RFP submissions and proposals.
• Support analysis on economic drivers and client behavior during fee negotiations.
• Design and implement tools/processes to improve pricing review and approval.
