Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Pricing Analyst to support revenue generation by analyzing historical data and performance to advise on profitable pricing and rate structures. You will collaborate with Pricing Leadership, Sr.

Analysts, Business Development, Marketing, Legal Project Management, Billing Operations, and Staff Leadership. You will resolve complex data to build a story and propose forward options while maintaining alignment with the firm’s strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field is required.
3 years’ directly related experience, preferably in financial analysis, billing, accounting or similar work.
Strong problem solving, planning and organizational skills are essential.
Advanced MS Word & Excel experience, including VLOOKUP and PivotTable functions.

Responsibilities

Develop rate proposals, fee estimates and pricing options in response to client RFPs and ad-hoc requests.
Identify rate renewal opportunities and coordinate with pricing and billing teams to submit proposals by deadlines.
Contribute to financial models to assess profitability and pricing scenarios, including alternative fee arrangements.
Analyze historical matters to identify drivers of fee magnitude for broader pricing applications.
Ensure pricing arrangements are accurately captured in billing systems and client notes.
Communicate progress, risks and wins to Pricing Leadership and Firm leadership.
