Job summary

Hub Group is seeking a Pricing Analyst to oversee pricing and contract renewals, conduct analysis and modeling of current operations, and support new pricing initiatives. The role involves collaborating with Sales, Operations, Legal, and Leadership to optimize pricing and drive profitability.

The ideal candidate will have a analytical degree, 0–1 years in transportation, and strong skills in Excel, SQL, and Tableau to build pricing proposals and support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college/university in an analytical field (business, economics, finance, logistics/supply chain, etc.)
• 0–1 years in transportation
• Strong understanding of transportation economics and network behavior
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to work independently and in a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting/analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau)

Responsibilities

• Lead renewal pricing strategy and responses
• Manage renewal timelines and pricing proposals
• Identify growth and profit opportunities through pricing strategies
• Apply transportation optimization techniques to improve routing and network efficiency
• Analyze incumbent business and P&L, document actions
• Present methodology and findings to internal teams
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Legal, and Leadership on pricing opportunities
• Handle additional duties as assigned
