Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Pricing Senior Manager to lead cost proposal development, pricing strategy, and budgeting for major proposals. This remote role favors candidates near an Amentum HQ (Chantilly, VA or Fort Worth, TX) or with travel ability; US citizenship is required.

Strong Excel, data analysis, and AI-enabled tooling are essential to drive compliant, high-quality proposals. Responsibilities include directing pricing activities, ensuring policy compliance, and coordinating with Program

Qualifications

• Typically twelve (12) years’ experience in cost proposal preparation.
• 8 years’ experience with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree; contracts/pricing substitution possible.
• Experience with base operations support, Space Force, NASA contracts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees cost proposal development and pricing strategies for major proposals.
• Ensures compliance with estimating systems and policies.
• Manages project budgets, schedules, and resources to meet objectives.
• Develops and implements new business capture/proposal strategies.
• Directs and manages people and financial resources to achieve objectives.
• Maintains relationships with Program/Project Managers and upper management.
• Performs at the highest pricing analyst level when needed.
