Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Pricing Analyst III to prepare cost and price proposals of medium to high complexity in a remote role. The role requires 5+ years pricing experience, strong financial acumen, and collaboration across the organization, with US citizenship a prerequisite.

Responsibilities include developing pricing models, analyzing RFPs, and ensuring compliance with CAS, FAR/DFAR, and the company's Estimating System. Travel 10–15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5-years of proposal pricing experience.
• US Citizenship is required to apply.
• Experience analyzing RFPs, PWSs, and SOWs to shape cost models.
• Advanced Excel and mathematical skills for cost modeling.
• Ability to travel 10–15% and communicate across all levels.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR/CAS and pricing regulations.
• Comfort with AI-enabled tools to improve workflows while preserving judgment.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with Operations and Support groups to collect data for pricing.
• Develops pricing models for medium to complex proposals with minimal supervision.
• Designs and implements proposal strategies aligned with company goals.
• Builds robust cost models from scratch and adapts existing templates.
• Analyzes RFPs, PWSs, and SOWs to ensure models reflect requirements and deliverables.
• Writes basic cost narratives per government guidelines when needed.
• Ensures compliance with estimating system manuals and policies.
• Performs QA reviews of cost/price components for responsiveness.
• Provides pricing guidance to field personnel and teams.
• Mentors junior pricing staff and promotes best practices.
