Job summary

Gap Inc. is transforming how its brands use data and AI to price and promote products. The Manager, Pricing Optimization executes pricing and promotional analytics with technical proficiency, delivering decision-ready analyses to Old Navy business owners and finance partners.

You will work to train pricing analysts and agents, build scenario models, and stress-test outputs from pricing agents, shaping the function as it scales within Gap Inc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–4 years of experience in pricing analytics, demand planning, commercial analytics, or a related field.
• Experience with AI-generated outputs: ability to apply, interrogate, and quality-check outputs from pricing agents.
• Proficiency with reporting and analytics platforms; ability to use them independently.
• Ability to translate data into clear commercial recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Own markdown and promotional analytics workstreams for Old Navy—build and run the models and provide recommendations.
• Develop and stress-test AI-scenario simulations for pricing decisions.
• Synthesize demand signals and apply predictive pricing insights across categories.
• Maintain monitoring of in-season pricing actions and identify risks or opportunities.
• Use AI reporting tools and pricing platforms reliably and know when human review is needed.
