Job summary

Gap Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a Manager, Pricing Optimization to lead advanced pricing analytics for Old Navy. You will run models, stress-test AI scenarios, synthesize demand signals, and deliver decision-ready insights to brand owners and finance partners.

You'll train pricing analysts, collaborate with data science and technology teams, and build scalable pricing workflows as the function grows from scratch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2-4 years of experience in pricing analytics, demand planning, or related field.
• Strong technical proficiency in pricing models: elasticity, risk modeling, scenario simulation.
• Experience or aptitude for working with AI-generated analytical outputs and pricing agents.

Responsibilities

• Own markdown and promotional analytics workstreams for Old Navy, building and running the models and producing grounded recommendations.
• Develop and stress-test AI-scenario simulations for in-season and seasonal pricing decisions; validate outputs and flag risks.
• Synthesize demand signals and apply pricing insights across categories to produce accurate, commercially grounded analyses.
• Maintain monitoring of in-season pricing actions and escalate risks with clear data and a point of view.
• Contribute to training pricing agents and define pricing workflow standards.
