Job summary

Arnold Packaging in Sparrows Point, Maryland, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. This full-time role focuses on pricing contracts, online ordering platforms, and our Virtual Warehouse system.

The ideal candidate will handle administrative tasks, data management, and customer inquiries while collaborating with Customer Service, Sales, Purchasing, and other departments to ensure accurate information and smooth processes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, order entry, administrative support, or a similar role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP or CRM systems is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable learning new software and technology.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team-oriented mindset.
• Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or packaging is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Enter, maintain, and update customer pricing contracts, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Support and maintain our Virtual Warehouse and online ordering platforms.
• Assist with online ordering processes, updates, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Review and maintain customer pricing, product information, and account details within our ERP system.
• Identify and help resolve discrepancies related to pricing, contracts, and online orders.
• Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with customer inquiries regarding orders, pricing, and product availability.
• Work closely with Customer Service, Sales, Purchasing, and other departments to ensure information is accurate and processes run smoothly.
• Maintain organized records and documentation.
• Provide general support to the Customer Service team and assist with additional responsibilities as needed.
• Learn and develop an understanding of our customer service processes, with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities over time.
