Job summary

Build People is partnering with a global leader in industrial equipment to recruit a Pricing Manager for the US market. The role owns US pricing strategy, policies, discounting, and approvals, working with sales leadership and a global pricing team.

You will drive price realization, margins and policy enforcement, while supporting bids and negotiations. A CPQ rollout and data improvements across ERP/CRM are key focuses for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in pricing, commercial excellence, sales operations, finance or revenue management.
• Experience setting and enforcing pricing policies.
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills; ERP and CRM experience (SAP a plus).
• The confidence to challenge sales teams and influence senior leaders.
• Industrial B2B experience; CPQ and Power BI are a plus.

Responsibilities

Build People is partnering with a global leader in industrial equipment on a confidential search for a Pricing Manager. This is a high-impact role that owns US pricing strategy and works closely with sales leadership and a global pricing team.

What You'll Do

• Lead US pricing strategy, policies, discount levels and approvals
• Track price realization and margins, and catch margin leakage or inconsistent discounting
• Approve or push back on pricing requests and exceptions
• Analyze pricing and margins by product, customer, region and channel, and share insights with sales leadership
• Support sales on key bids, quotes and negotiations
• Lead the US rollout of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) software, including requirements, testing and training
