Job summary

iHerb is seeking a Pricing Data Scientist to own end-to-end pricing analytics and measurement in close partnership with the Pricing organization. You will translate complex pricing dynamics into clear, credible recommendations for senior leaders, employing Python and SQL across analytics workflows.

The role emphasizes predictive modeling, production-ready workflows, and decision-ready insights that influence pricing strategy in a fast-moving global environment.

Qualifications

• Strong applied quantitative background with experience designing, building, and deploying Python-based data science models for pricing decisions.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL and Python to manipulate, model, and analyze large datasets end-to-end.
• Experience designing and interpreting pricing or promotional measurement, including experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end pricing analytics, modeling and measurement in partnership with Pricing, supporting day-to-day decisions and long-term strategy.
• Build, validate, and maintain pricing models (elasticity, incrementality, sensitivity tiers) balancing rigor with real-world constraints.
• Design and execute measurement approaches for pricing tests and promotions, including A/B tests and quasi-experimental methods.
• Lead competitive pricing analytics, validate external data, and monitor quality of insights.
• Translate analytic outputs into actionable insights for senior pricing leadership.
• Partner with BI Analytics and Data Engineering to shape datasets and ensure reusable outputs.
• Develop analytic workflows using SQL and Python, from exploration to insight generation with minimal guidance.
• Contribute to pricing dashboards and recurring analyses prioritizing clarity and decision relevance.
• Refine pricing measurement frameworks as the business evolves in a fast-moving global environment.
• Experience deploying models in production analytics or ML environments (Databricks, pipelines).
