Job summary

Jerry’s Enterprises, Inc. at Cub Foods Monticello is seeking a part-time union associate to help keep pricing accurate and shelves well-marked. You will engage customers, verify prices at the register, and hang shelf tags, while helping maintain a clean, safe store environment.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with customers in a retail setting is preferred.
• Ability to verify shelf prices reflect register prices.
• Willingness to bend, kneel and stand for long periods.

Location: Cub Foods Monticello

Reports to: Pricing Coordinator

Classification: Part Time Union

Rate of Pay: Progressive scale up to $17.25 hour / depending on experience

Hours: Sunday – Saturday, varied hours

Position functions and physical requirements may vary between locations.

Frequent:

Physical

• - lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs.
• - pushing/pulling to 30 force pounds
• - reaching, standing, turning

Equipment Operation

• - scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine

Mental

• - judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, math

Occasional:

Physical

• - lifting/carrying over 50 lbs.
• - squatting, stooping/bending, walking

Equipment Operation

• - calculator

Environmental

• - exposure to cold temperatures and wet surfaces

FREQUENT: 15% of the work shift or at least ten repetitions per work shift

OCCASIONAL: Approximately less than 15% of the work shift or fewer than 10 repetitions per work shift
