Reports to: Pricing Coordinator

Classification: Part Time

Pay and Hours

Union Rate of Pay: Progressive scale up to $17.25 hour / depending on experience

Hours: Sunday – Saturday, varied hours

Responsibilities

Individuals applying for this position should be willing to:

• Make lasting connections with our customers
• Ensure prices on shelves reflect accurately at register
• Hang shelf tags throughout the store (there is bending, stooping and kneeling)
• Help maintain a clean and safe store
• Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department
• Be a part of a dedicated team that enjoys their job, arrives promptly for shifts, and works as scheduled

Jerry’s may give preference to an individual who:

• Is friendly and outgoing and promotes customer service for the entire team
• Knows about timelines, front end operations, pricing and scanning systems
• Is motivated to grow their career and continue learning

Physical Requirements

Position functions and physical requirements may vary between locations.

Frequent:

• Physical lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs. pushing/pulling to 30 force pounds reaching, standing, turning
• Equipment Operation scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine
• Mental judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, math

Occasional:

• Physical lifting/carrying over 50 lbs. squatting, stooping/bending, walking
• Equipment Operation calculator
• Environmental exposure to cold temperatures and wet surfaces

FREQUENT: 15% of the work shift or at least ten repetitions per work shift

OCCASIONAL: Approximately less than 15% of the work shift or fewer than 10 repetitions per work shift
