Job summary

Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented Financial Program Control Analyst to support government contracts. The role encompasses budgeting, cost reporting, invoicing, and financial tracking across T&M, CPFF, and FFP contracts.

Candidates should have a BS degree in Accounting or Finance, experience with ERP systems, and familiarity with government contracting rules. The position is based in Alabama and requires eligibility for a Secret Clearance.

Job description

Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated experienced Financial Program Control Analyst to help us support and grow with our current government customers.

Duties Include:

• Prepare Proposal Pricing models and write Cost Narratives
• Prepare, Review & Submit Monthly Invoices
• Track available labor, travel, and materials funds on contract.
• Assist with Development and monitoring of budgets and EACs.
• Assist in timely delivery of contract deliverables such as cost reports and technical reports.
• Perform project set-up and maintenance in accounting system for multiple contract types including T&M, CPFF, and FFP.
• Assist in labor category qualification reviews
• Monitor progress of program requirements and cost performance to ensure contractual cost obligations are met.
• Review & process Revenue
• Assist with Indirect Rate Modeling
• Assignment of workforce and labor codes
• WAWF/PIEE invoice preparation, submission, and tracking
• Government/DoD contract billing
• Invoice validation against contract terms, CLINs, and funding
• DoW AAC and WAWF routing-data knowledge
• Receiving reports and government acceptance workflows
• Resolving rejected/disputed invoices and payment discrepancies
• Reconciliation of invoices, payments, and accounts receivable
• Familiarity with DFARS payment requirements
• Coordination with Contracting Officers, CORs, DFAS, and internal finance teams
• Support CPA Financial and DCAA Audits
• Performing other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements:

Candidate must have a minimum of a BS degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related degree from an accredited college/university and collegiate or work experience in the following.

• Conducting financial analysis or budgeting/forecasting.
• Monitoring, tracking, and analyzing the financial aspects of a project.
• Performing monthly billing for multiple contract types including T&M, CPFF, and FFP.

Preferred qualifications include familiarity with some or all, of the following:

• Pricing Proposals or Grants
• Working with government contracts, understanding contract terms and conditions, and complying with government requirements
• Performing project set-up and maintenance in financial systems and tools such as an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, for multiple contract types including T&M, CPFF, and FFP.
• Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
• Should exhibit strong organizational and time management abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Sitting for extended periods of time at desk, in telecoms/meetings with peers, management.
• Ability to use stairs or elevators for access between floors and multiple buildings at customer worksites and Invariant facilities during travel.

Equipment And Machines

• Requires ability to operate a personal computer, telephone, printer, copier, and other general office equipment.
• Normal workdays are from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday.
• Support will be provided as needed during this time frame, but small efforts may be required at any time to support operations.

Other Essential Functions

• Obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.

This position is expected to be performed only in the state of Alabama.
