Job summary

Apple in New York seeks a self-directed builder for Pricing Operations to reimagine end-to-end pricing workflows. You will prototype solutions, partner with Engineering to scale them, and embed AI and automation into how pricing decisions are made across the App Store and beyond.

As the first person in this role, you will define the function, build a validation framework for accuracy at scale, and communicate progress to senior leadership, delivering measurable ROI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience driving process transformation, operations, or building solutions in a business context.
• Hands-on experience applying AI, Generative AI, or intelligent automation to transform workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to prototype and build solutions independently, and to partner with Engineering to scale them.
• Able to translate ambiguous problems into clear requirements that bridge operations and engineering teams.
• Experience designing validation, QA, or control processes where the cost of error is high and accuracy is non-negotiable.
• Comfortable operating in undefined territory: learning complex processes quickly, creating structure where none exists.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Track record of building strong working relationships and collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Reimagine the end-to-end pricing implementation lifecycle and design the next generation of intelligent workflows
• Pioneer how AI and automation can elevate pricing operations, then prototype, test, and pilot solutions that bring those ideas to life
• Partner with Engineering to build and scale tools that make implementing pricing initiatives faster, simpler, and more powerful
• Design a best-in-class validation framework that lets us move quickly while staying accurate at scale
• Bring the Pricing Operations perspective to the table early, and clearly communicate vision, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior leaders
• Translate operational needs into clear requirements, and build the case for new solutions grounded in clear impact and ROI
