Job summary

CW Talent Solutions in Denver seeks a Power/Energy Analyst to join a global hedge fund's trading desk. You will research, develop and execute power and energy strategies across ISO/ERCOT/PJM, leveraging data and modeling to drive PNL opportunities.

The role requires 2+ years on the buyside as an analyst/researcher, with strong power/energy market knowledge and Python skills to support cross-asset trading globally. Competitive base, bonus, sign-on and relocation packages offered.

Qualifications

2+ years experience as an Analyst/Researcher within the Buyside/Trade Shop.
Strong Power/Energy market knowledge.

Responsibilities

Research, development and execution of Power and Energy trading strategies (ISO/ ERCOT / PJM).
Manage data and modelling for the power and gas desks, generating reports with the aim of finding discrepancies in the markets to use as a source of PNL.
Using Python you will assist in trading global commodity strategies.
