Job summary

Delmar International in Miami is seeking a Pricing Analyst to support the national pricing team with pricing strategy development and client inquiry responses using clear, data-driven analyses.

You will prepare RFPs/RFQs, coordinate with agents, carriers and product leaders to gather data, and deliver pricing insights to drive competitive, profitable proposals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding.
• Data analytic experience is an asset.
• Air, Ocean and Ground International Freight Forwarding operations experience from A-Z.
• Proven experience in dealing with carriers and the negotiation process.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing pricing strategy for the national pricing team.
• Prepare requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotations (RFQs) for client needs.
• Gather information from agents, carriers and product leaders to provide pricing analyses.

Job description

Mandate:

Reporting to the Pricing Supervisor, the role of Pricing Analyst will assist with developing and facilitating strategy set forth by the national pricing team. The pricing analyst will support client prospect inquiries by preparing requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotations (RFQs) according to client needs. The incumbent will work directly with agents, carriers, and product leaders to gather necessary information to provide detailed analysis to ensure optimal pricing.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding


• Data Analytic Experience (an asset)


• Air, Ocean and Ground International Freight Forwarding operations experience from A-Z


• Proven experience in dealing with carriers and the negotiation process
