Job summary

Delmar International Inc. in Miami is seeking a Pricing Analyst to support the pricing strategy of the national team and help implement pricing initiatives.

You will work with agents, carriers and product leaders to collect information and deliver detailed analyses to ensure competitive pricing. The role includes preparing requests for proposals and quotations for client needs across air, ocean and ground freight.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding.
• Data analytic experience is a plus.
• Air, Ocean and Ground International Freight Forwarding operations experience from A-Z.
• Proven experience negotiating with carriers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and facilitating pricing strategy for the national pricing team.
• Prepare RFPS/RFQs in response to client needs.
• Gather information from agents, carriers and product leaders to provide detailed pricing analysis.

Job description

Mandate:

Reporting to the Pricing Supervisor, the role of Pricing Analyst will assist with developing and facilitating strategy set forth by the national pricing team. The pricing analyst will support client prospect inquiries by preparing requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotations (RFQs) according to client needs. The incumbent will work directly with agents, carriers, and product leaders to gather necessary information to provide detailed analysis to ensure optimal pricing.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding
• Data Analytic Experience (an asset)
• Air, Ocean and Ground International Freight Forwarding operations experience from A-Z
• Proven experience in dealing with carriers and the negotiation process
