Job summary

Randstad USA in Houston is seeking an experienced logistics professional to manage 3PL bids, analyze market trends, and design tailored freight solutions for RFQs across the Americas. You will collaborate with internal teams and carriers to optimize margins and deliver competitive proposals.

The role requires 3+ years in 3PL bid management or RFQ support, a high school diploma with Bachelor’s preferred, and strong MS Office and TMS skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze freight market trends, pricing data, and carrier overhead to optimize 3PL margins.
• Negotiate high-volume RFQ lanes across the Americas region.
• Design tailored 3PL supply chain and freight solutions to meet client RFQ needs.
• Maintain the internal rate database with current regional market benchmarks.
• Coordinate pickup and linehaul strategies with internal transportation and carrier partners.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years in 3PL/logistics bid management, RFQ preparation, or sales support.
• Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project) and TMS/logistics software.
• Core Competencies: freight analytics, strategic lane negotiation, detail-oriented execution, and reliable on-site attendance.
