Job summary

Northeast Grocery, Inc. is seeking a frontline associate to maintain the scanning file, support Front End accuracy, and provide friendly customer service.

You will act as a liaison between the store and the Scanning Department, and assist with store computer tasks as instructed by Help Desk. Responsibilities include upholding 5S efficiency, price-change verification, shelf-tag maintenance, and daily use of Gateway, scales, and scanning systems.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and basic literacy to assist customers.
• Proficient with store systems including gateways, scales and scanning.
• High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ year related experience.
• Reliable performance history and ability to follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 5S standards to deliver fast, friendly service.
• Keep workstation neat and organized at all times.
• Assist customers and answer questions about store systems.
• Verify price changes and maintain shelf tag accuracy.
• Communicate changes to relevant departments and back up front end operations.
