Job summary

Northeast Grocery is seeking a Front End Associate to maintain scanning accuracy and provide fast, friendly service. You will act as a liaison between the store and the Scanning Department and support the Help Desk as needed.

Responsibilities include enforcing 5S standards, keeping workstation neat, understanding Gateway, scales, and scanning systems, assisting customers, verifying price changes, and communicating discrepancies to relevant departments.

Qualifications

• Basic literacy and computer skills required.
• Satisfactory performance reviews preferred.
• Experience in customer service or retail a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 5S standards to provide fast, friendly service.
• Keep workstation neat and organized at all times.
• Understand store systems: Gateway, scales, scanning.
• Assist customers by answering questions and directing them as needed.
• Verify weekly price changes and communicate discrepancies to departments.
• Provide back-up support to Front End operations as needed.
