Job summary

Northeast Grocery in Bristol, CT is seeking a Front End/Scanning Associate to maintain scanning files and ensure price accuracy while delivering fast, friendly customer service. You will act as a liaison between the store and the Scanning Department and assist with the store computer as directed by Help Desk.

Applicants should have basic literacy and computer skills; High School diploma preferred and 1+ years related experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; 1+ years related experience preferred.
• Basic literacy and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Assist customers by answering questions and guiding them to products.
• Verify price accuracy and maintain shelf tags for visibility.
• Confirm weekly price changes and communicate discrepancies to the Scanning Department.
• Ensure scanning accuracy and report pricing/scanning issues promptly.
• Provide backup support to Front End operations as needed.
• Maintain open communication with Scanning Department.
