Job summary

MRP Solutions, a plastic cap manufacturer in Franklin Township, NJ, seeks a Preventive Maintenance Mechanic. The role focuses on scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs of production machinery to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, plus industrial maintenance experience and basic electrical knowledge. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 1st shift, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training in industrial maintenance preferred.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance is required.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, bearings, lubrication, and pneumatics.
• Basic electrical knowledge for 24V DC, 120V, 240V, and 480V systems.
• Familiarity with automated equipment, sensors, and basic electrical diagrams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment such as lining and rotary assembly machines, conveyors, and related systems.
• Inspect, lubricate, adjust, and replace worn components; verify proper operation after maintenance.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and assist with repairs within training scope.
• Utilize basic electrical knowledge to diagnose and fix electrical issues.
• Support 5S, TPM, and lean initiatives and maintain clean, organized work area.
