Job summary

MRP Solutions is seeking an Automation & Lining Technician for its plastic cap manufacturing facility in New Jersey. You will troubleshoot and repair automated equipment, lead RCA investigations, and implement robust corrective actions to maximize machine uptime and product quality.

The role requires hands-on work with lining machines, vision systems, and automated lines, with collaboration across maintenance, production, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in an automated environment.
• Experience with RCA and structured problem-solving to implement corrective actions.
• Familiarity with lining machines and packaging systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize automated production equipment.
• Lead or participate in RCA investigations to identify underlying causes of failures.
• Develop and verify corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering to improve line efficiency.
• Support 5S, TPM, Lean initiatives and monitor equipment performance.
