Oklahoma City University is seeking a Facilities Maintenance professional to manage daily maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems across campus. The role requires hands-on technical skills, adherence to safety protocols, and documentation of work performed.

The successful candidate will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair system failures, and support building operations while contributing to a safe and efficient campus environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in commercial maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Research proper maintenance practices for various equipment and implement these into our preventative maintenance program. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
• Use equipment, instruments, and tools in accordance with departmental standards; return items to designated locations promptly upon completion of task or at the end of each shift.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Accurately and consistently record maintenance and repair work performed.
• Apply safety precaution pertaining to: Safety regulations and procedures; chemical safety, hazard communication program; personal protective equipment; lifting procedures, lock out/ tag out procedures, back injury prevention; flammable storage, housekeeping; fire extinguisher training.
• Perform other duties as assigned. - (Essential)
