Job summary

The Lakeshore Recycling Systems team is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Mechanic in Maywood, IL. You will maintain and repair the fleet, including wheel loaders, excavators, and forklifts, focusing on safety and uptime.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, service of conveyors and sorting equipment, and keeping accurate service records. Must be able to work in all weather and lift heavy tools as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of heavy vehicles, equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Perform services, diagnostics, and parts replacement for company fleet.
• Aid in repairs and adjustments or replacements on components and systems such as tires, hoses, and electrical systems.
• Service conveyors and various sorting equipment.
• Complete and maintain records of servicing operations such as work orders and daily status reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
