Job summary

Anduril Industries in Quonset, RI seeks an Equipment Specialist to own the lifecycle of major facility and capital equipment. Build and lead the site's preventive maintenance program, manage inspection cycles, and develop SOPs to standardize operations across shifts.

You will drive CapEx planning, support procurement and installation, and act as the SME for monument and facility equipment, aligning teams to a culture of preventive maintenance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in facilities management or related manufacturing roles.
• Hands-on knowledge of capital equipment lifecycle management.
• Experience with CMMS for PM scheduling and asset tracking.
• Overhead crane, hoisting and rigging experience.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the site-wide preventive maintenance program for major facility and production equipment.
• Serve as SME on capital equipment; guide procurement, installation, and qualification.
• Support CapEx planning from needs through installation and validation.
• Diagnose complex equipment issues and coordinate vendor/ OEM repairs.
• Manage inspection cycles and ensure regulatory and safety standards.
• Develop and deliver SOPs for major equipment across the site.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
