Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Equipment Specialist in Quonset, RI to own the lifecycle of major site equipment and to build a robust preventive maintenance program across multiple product lines. You will develop SOPs, lead inspections, and drive continuous improvement in reliability and uptime.

You will collaborate with production, quality, and finance to plan CapEx and ensure compliance, while maintaining strong vendor relationships and a culture of accountability across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in facilities management, equipment engineering, maintenance, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience building or significantly improving preventive maintenance programs
• Hands-on knowledge of capital equipment lifecycle management, including procurement, installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems
• Effective communicator who can drive process adoption across teams and present to leadership
• Experience with CMMS for PM scheduling, work order management, and asset tracking, implementation experience highly preferred
• Overhead crane, hoisting and rigging experience
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and own the site-wide preventive maintenance program for all major facility and production equipment.
• Serve as the technical SME on major facility and monument-level capital equipment.
• Support full CapEx planning lifecycle from needs to installation and validation.
• Diagnose root causes and coordinate repairs with vendors and OEMs.
• Manage the inspection cycle to meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Support development and delivery of training plans for major equipment.
• Own SOP creation and standardization for operation and maintenance.
• Analyze equipment performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
