Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Equipment Specialist for the Quonset, RI site to own the lifecycle of major facility and capital equipment. You will design and drive a site-wide preventive maintenance program, establish SOPs, and partner with leadership to ensure compliance and continuous improvement across multiple teams.

You will lead PM frameworks, coordinate CapEx planning, manage inspections, and train operators to build a scalable maintenance culture at a growing manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in facilities management, equipment engineering, maintenance, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience building or significantly improving preventive maintenance programs.
• Hands-on knowledge of capital equipment lifecycle management, including procurement, installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Effective communicator who can drive process adoption across teams and present to leadership.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for PM scheduling, work order management, and asset tracking, implementation experience highly preferred.
• Overhead crane, hoisting and rigging experience.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance Program Ownership: Design, implement, and own the site-wide preventive maintenance program for all major facility and production equipment.
• Capital Equipment Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the technical SME on major facility and monument-level capital equipment.
• CapEx Planning and Execution: Support the full CapEx planning lifecycle from identifying equipment needs to procurement, installation, and validation.
• Equipment Troubleshooting and Support: Serve as the escalation point for complex equipment issues and coordinate repairs.
• Inspection and Compliance: Manage the inspection cycle for all major equipment and ensure audit readiness.
• Training Program Support: Develop and deliver training plans for all major equipment.
• SOP Development and Standardization: Create and update SOPs for equipment operation, maintenance, and changeover.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze performance data to identify and implement reliability improvements.
