Job summary

Dynamic Systems Technology, Inc. seeks a Prevention Coordinator to support the North Carolina Army National Guard with substance abuse and suicide prevention initiatives.

The role blends public speaking, training delivery, and non-clinical case management to support readiness and resiliency within the Guard. The Prevention Coordinator will work under the Risk Reduction Coordinator, coordinating trainings, managing risk inventories, and ensuring timely documentation and reporting to military

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, Behavioral Science, Public Health, Human Services, or a related social science field.
• 3+ years of practical experience in Substance Abuse Prevention, Suicide Prevention, Resiliency programs, or non-clinical case management.
• Strong professional instruction, briefing, and public speaking skills with the ability to adapt presentations for diverse military audiences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver Substance Abuse Prevention, Suicide Prevention, and Bystander training for ARNG units and leaders, meeting or exceeding Army regulatory standards.
• Coordinate, facilitate, quality-check, and process Unit Risk Inventory assessments; report outcomes and assist in executing Risk Mitigation Plan training.
• Manage referred Soldier cases from initial referral through final disposition; coordinate assessments and follow-on treatment; track progress and document communications.
• Input all training, case management records, and suicide reporting events into databases within timelines.
• Build and maintain relationships with State POCs and community providers; participate in relevant councils and readiness initiatives.
• Maintain the State Resource Catalog; provide weekly and monthly operational reports to the RRC; assist with Monthly Status reports.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, Behavioral Science, Public Health, Human Services, or a related social science field
