Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related social science field.
• 3+ years in Substance Abuse Prevention, Suicide Prevention, resiliency programs, or non-clinical case management.
• Strong public speaking and instruction for diverse military audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and documentation in tracking systems/databases.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and willingness to travel in-state.
• Ability to obtain favorable findings from NACI background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Train and deliver Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention training for ARNG units and leaders.
• Coordinate and facilitate Unit Risk Inventory assessments and risk mitigation training.
• Manage referred Soldier cases from intake to disposition with follow-ups.
• Input training and case data into databases with timely reporting.
• Build relationships with State POCs and community providers; participate in councils.
• Provide weekly and monthly operational reports to the Risk Reduction Coordinator.
