Job summary

Dynamic Systems Technology, Inc. (DysTech) seeks a Prevention Coordinator to deliver Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention training, act as a non-clinical case manager, and assist in risk mitigation for NY Army National Guard units in a hands-on, public-facing role.

The position emphasizes training, case management, data tracking, and coordination with Unit Commanders and state partners to ensure timely reporting and effective program support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, Behavioral Science, Public Health, Human Services, or related field.
• 3+ years in Substance Abuse Prevention, Suicide Prevention, resiliency programs, or non-clinical case management.
• Strong public speaking, briefing, and instruction for diverse military audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintaining precise documentation in tracking systems/databases.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with willingness to travel in-state.
• Must obtain favorable findings from NACI background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver Substance Abuse Prevention, Suicide Prevention, and Bystander training for ARNG units and leaders.
• Coordinate, facilitate, quality-check, and process Unit Risk Inventory assessments.
• Manage referred Soldier cases from initial referral through final disposition.
• Input training and case records into databases and ensure timely reporting.
• Build relationships with State POCs and community providers; participate in Commander’s Readiness and Resiliency Council.
• Provide weekly and monthly operational reports to the RRC and support Monthly Status reports.
